The drive for cutting is realized with a servo drive with one turn in a time of 100 ms. With a suitable mechanic the crosswire is dropped out of the crosswirechannel during the cutting cycle. Afterwards the wire falls directly into the crosswiremagazine. The drop position for the wire can be adjusted with a range of +/-300mm with a driving appliance.

The here discribed mashine is a double straightening mashine, with the option to work with two and with one wireline. The operator has got the option to operate with only one wireline while channging the coil.
